The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), the North County Transit District (NCTD), and San Diego Comic-Con International have partnered to launch a limited edition Transportation Card Comic-Con PRONTO.

The 2024 edition of Comic-Con is just around the corner, taking place from July 25 to 28 at the San Diego Convention Center. To fully embrace the spirit of the world’s largest comics and pop arts convention, MTS will offer extended service to the Convention Center with a special trolley line for the event.
How to Get the PRONTO Transportation Card
Comic-Con PRONTO Transportation cards will be available for pre-sale on the PRONTO website and by phone from July 8 to 15.
Remaining commemorative cards can be purchased at the MTS Transit Store in downtown San Diego, NCTD customer service centers, select locations, trolley ticket machines, and COASTER stations from July 23 to 28.
In addition to the PRONTO transportation card, conference attendees using MTS trolleys and buses can get discounted Comic-Con day passes, also available for purchase starting July 8. Attendees can choose from two, three, four, or five-day SDCC pass options in the PRONTO mobile app, on the PRONTO website, or by phone. Comic-Con attendees using COASTER can travel for five days and pay for only three with the 5-COASTER package, offering a 40% discount on a regional day pass, valid for a month from the purchase date. To reserve an SDCC PRONTO card and Comic-Con day passes, visit www.RidePRONTO.com or call PRONTO support at 619-595-5636.
All commemorative card purchases must include a Comic-Con day pass and will take five to seven business days to arrive by mail. All SDCC PRONTO cards incur a one-time $2 fee. Comic-Con transit passes will also be available in the PRONTO app, though limited edition cards cannot be purchased through the app.
Passengers under 18 with a registered Youth PRONTO card or app account can travel for free with the Youth Opportunity Pass. All passengers must tap their fare at a platform validator before boarding.
