Old Town San Diego will host a vibrant Mexican Independence Day celebration on Saturday, September 14, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This lively event honors the beginning of Mexico’s fight for independence and offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, learn about, and appreciate Mexican heritage, traditions, and history.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including traditional crafts, living history demonstrations, and tours of historic sites. Additionally, the Gift of Dance group will perform captivating folkloric dance presentations throughout the day.

This celebration is made possible by the Boosters of Old Town San Diego, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the history, culture, and preservation of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. During the event, you can enjoy and experience the following:
