Mattel pays tribute to the six-time Grammy nominee and mariachi icon with a new exclusive Barbie doll.

Mattel has introduced the latest addition to its Barbie Signature Music Series, celebrating the legendary Mexican singer Juan Gabriel.

The new Juan Gabriel Barbie doll honors the artist by donning a dazzling bolero jacket, inspired by his iconic 1990 concert at El Palacio de Bellas Artes.

The doll’s design features intricate gold details reminiscent of his vibrant mariachi outfits.

This limited edition doll, part of the Black Label collection, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a doll stand. It will be available exclusively to Barbie Club 59 members from 7:00 p.m. MT/8:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, August 27, until 6:59 p.m. MT/7:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, August 28.

Juan Gabriel Barbie priced at $64.99, the doll can be purchased at Mattel, select Target and Walmart stores, and online at Amazon, Target, and Walmart while supplies last. The doll will ship on or before October 28 and is limited to one per customer, according to Mattel.

Juan Gabriel Museum Now Open

Fans of Juan Gabriel can now get an intimate glimpse into his personal life.

A museum dedicated to his legacy opened on August 23 at his former home in Ciudad Juárez. Reservations are required for museum entry, and guided tours take visitors through the house.

Juan Gabriel, born Alberto Aguilera Valadez in Michoacán, Mexico, in 1950, used his stage name throughout his career.
