The park that hosts Elmo and his friends will celebrate National Waterpark Day with the new “Waterpark Challenge” from Wednesday, July 24th to Friday, July 26th.

In honor of National Waterpark Day, Sesame Place San Diego invites guests to enjoy the park’s thrilling water attractions (Bert’s Topsy Turvy Tunnels, Honker Dinger Dash, Cookie’s Monster Mixer, Snuffy’s Spaghetti Slides, Big Bird’s Rambling River) to receive a special gift available exclusively to event attendees.

How to Participate in the Event?

To participate, guests must meet the minimum height requirements, and on July 28th, the park will surprise randomly selected guests each hour with gifts and prizes including sunglasses, cooling towels, and magnet tokens.

In addition to the water attractions, guests can enjoy Sesame Street-themed spinning rides, a family-friendly roller coaster, an interactive Sesame Street neighborhood, captivating theatrical shows, and a parade.

The park is designed with the needs of families with young children in mind, including those with special needs. It features numerous changing areas and lockers, providing a place for families to switch from swimsuits to dry clothes, with secure dressing rooms for the little ones.

Sesame Place San Diego is also a Certified Autism Center (CAC), meaning the park has completed training on autism sensitivity and awareness. Within the park, you’ll find facilities such as sensory guides, noise-canceling headphones, and designated quiet rooms.
