Exclusively for the streaming platform ViX, the biographical series ‘Se llamaba Pedro Infante’ has been available since December 1, 2023. The episodes tell the story of an ordinary young man who finds the inspiration to become a legend, the idol of Guamúchil, Sinaloa.

“It would be necessary to write a book about how this project was achieved. It must be enjoyed frame by frame. There were interviews with the family: Toño Infante, Lupita Torrentera, Lupita Infante, and some journalists who participated in investigations,” he commented.

According to the producer of the series, he also consulted sources from texts written by Ismael Rodríguez, Irma Dorantes, María Luisa León, as well as interviews with film personalities who got to know the actor and singer.

“All that information is simply an inspiration, because the series is not based on any specific source. It is an interpretation of all that information, and to be able to compact it, we had to tell a story from our perspective, once informed,” he said.
