San Carlos Named a Magic Town of Sonora

In June 2023, San Carlos was officially designated as a Magic Town by the Ministry of Tourism, recognizing its vital role in the region’s tourism and economy, as well as its stunning natural landscapes.

The town features a scenic lookout, which has been named by National Geographic as one of the top ten ocean views in the world. Each year, it attracts thousands of local and international visitors.
