Bacanora

Bacanora is a distilled spirit originating from the state of Sonora, Mexico. It is produced through cooking, fermentation, and distillation, similar to tequila, sotol, or raicilla; these four alcoholic beverages are protected by designations of origin. This beverage is obtained from the Agave Angustifolia Haw, commonly known as espadín or yaquiana agave (Agave vivipara). Generally, it is a colorless beverage with high alcohol content, ranging between 38% and 55% alcohol by volume.
