Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino combines the rich complexities of a traditional Añejo with a modern twist.
Brought together by a shared passion for creativity, innovation, and exceptional tequila, Tequila Don Julio—the original luxury tequila of choice in Mexico—and Mexican-American fashion designer Willy Chavarría continue their long-standing collaboration this season.
Together, they celebrate modern Mexico and its cherished traditions with the launch of the Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Artist Edition bottle. Inspired by his upbringing in California’s San Joaquin Valley and his love for luxury art and design, this artist edition showcases Chavarría’s creative vision and interpretations of one of Mexico’s most revered celebrations: Día de Muertos.
What Sets the Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Artist Edition Apart?
Originally launched in 2012 to mark the 70th anniversary of Don Julio González’s revolutionary impact on the tequila industry, Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino is aged to perfection for 18 months in American white oak barrels.
This unique spirit embodies the essence of innovation, being the first Añejo Cristalino tequila to undergo a charcoal filtration process that imparts a crystal-clear hue while highlighting the fresh agave flavor typically found in a Blanco, marking a new era in luxury tequila.
Tequila Don Julio is set to launch the Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Artist Edition with nationwide celebrations, kicking off with Willy Chavarría’s Spring/Summer 2025 runway show in New York City. The show will feature an exclusive capsule collection inspired by Tequila Don Julio, followed by events during Mexican Independence Day in Chicago and Día de Muertos in Los Angeles.
