Activities to Enjoy in the San Diego Area this July 4th
Big Bay Boom
Watch the spectacular Big Bay Boom fireworks display from four barges in San Diego Bay.

Chula Vista 4th Fest
Head to the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center for another incredible free light show, complete with a bilingual soundtrack on Amor 102.9 and a variety of food trucks offering tasty snacks.

- Parking: If parking is full, you can still enjoy the fireworks from Mountain Hawk Park.
Crown City Classic Run
Fitness enthusiasts will love the patriotic 12k or 5k run on Coronado Island, celebrating its 51st edition this year. The race starts at Tidelands Park, loops around the golf course and Glorietta Bay, and heads towards Silver Strand with scenic views.

Coronado Fourth of July
Starting early on Orange Avenue, Coronado hosts its 75th annual parade, kicking off at 10:00 AM. Spectators often reserve spots as early as 5:00 AM, with pre-parade entertainment beginning at 7:30 AM. Expect skydiving demonstrations, live music, and colorful fireworks.
SeaWorld
Enjoy brilliant fireworks at SeaWorld from June 30 to July 4 at 9:30 PM. The show is synchronized with music, celebrating another year of American independence.

San Diego County Fair
Celebrate Independence Day with the Annual Fireworks Show on July 4th, alongside various patriotic activities throughout the day, marking the start of the final weekend of the region’s biggest community celebration.
While many visitors are used to the grand fireworks finale on July 4th, the 2024 Fair will remain open until Sunday, July 7. This extension allows San Diego residents to enjoy an entire weekend of fun, carnival rides, fair food, shopping, live music, entertainment, and more.
