The San Diego Kite Festival marks its 76th anniversary, standing as the oldest in the country

The Ocean Beach Kite Festival is back, celebrating its 76th year with a day full of fun and excitement in the air for the whole family. This event, the oldest kite festival in the United States, will take place at Robb Field Athletic on the Point Loma peninsula on May 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Activities will include free kite making, decorating, and flying sessions, skills demonstrations, free games, a street fair, delicious festival food, and live music. Admission to the festival is free, making it accessible to all,
