At his young age, Christian Zazueta Jr. he has established himself as one of the most promising rookies in professional baseball, as early in his career he was part of a trade between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers, with the California organization now being his current team.
Zazueta plays as a right-handed pitcher and was in the minor leagues of the Yankees between 2022 and 2023, showcasing his talent in the games he participated in. He had a collective earned run average of 4.54 and earned 3 victories in 73 innings pitched.
The pitcher started playing baseball from a young age, being the son of a former professional baseball player who played in the Mexican Baseball League with Saraperos de Saltillo and became one of the important players in the history of the Águilas de Veracruz.
This closeness to the sport led him to develop a passion and talent for it, resulting in his integration into the Alfredo Harp Helú prospects academy. Subsequently, thanks to his outstanding performance, he made his debut with the Diablos Rojos del México in 2022.
