The ATP Los Cabos men’s tennis circuit is back. From July 31st to August 5th, this destination will welcome the world’s top tennis players in an event that promises exciting matches and an unforgettable experience for tennis fans.
The Cabo Sports Complex, a multifunctional sports facility, will be the venue for one of the most exciting tennis events in Mexico, the ATP Los Cabos 2023. This prestigious sports event promises exciting tennis matches that you can’t afford to miss.
The tournament, which is part of the official calendar of the Association of Tennis Professionals, attracts a global audience that positions Los Cabos as a world-class sports destination.
The stadium where this tournament takes place has a capacity for 3,500 fans and three courts that can be adapted for more comfortable matches, both for the attendees and the athletes.
Seventh Edition of ATP Los Cabos
This will be the seventh edition of the tournament held in this “noro” city, and it’s expected to receive over 30,000 attendees during the days of the sports matchups. The Los Cabos Tennis Open is considered the best in its category in Latin America.
The event, also known as the Mifel Tenis Open by Telcel Oppo 2023, will feature a main singles draw of 28 players and 16 doubles pairs. This edition will be the last one held during the summer, as the next edition will take place during the eighth week of the calendar, just before the Acapulco Mexican Open.
Which players will attend the ATP Los Cabos?
The men’s tennis circuit returns to Mexico with several top-ranked players that will make this event very exciting. Among those announced for this year’s edition are five players who are ranked within the top 20 in the world.
Stefanos Tsitsipas from Greece is currently ranked at number 5 in the ATP Ranking, followed by Russia’s Karen Khachanov, who is positioned at number 12. Also present will be Cameron Norrie from Great Britain, Tommy Paul from the United States, and Alex de Minaur from Australia, who are ranked at positions 14, 17, and 19 respectively.
“We have a very strong lineup for a tournament that has been growing and consolidating every year. Without a doubt, these players, who have stood out and climbed positions in the ATP rankings in recent months, provide a significant boost to the tournament and shape what we consider to be the best lineup of the tournament so far. We have received great acceptance in the northern part of Mexico and also in the southern United States,” mentioned the tournament director, José Antonio Fernández.
Where can tickets be obtained for the ATP Los Cabos 2023?
Tickets are available for purchase through the tournament’s website, and the prices depend on the selection of matches you choose to attend. For the full series, the costs in the gold category are $11,260 pesos, and for the platinum category, it’s $12,630 pesos.
Furthermore, there will be exclusive weekend access or individual tickets available, with prices ranging from $820 Mexican pesos to $3,215 Mexican pesos.
The week of activities will be divided into first-round matches on Monday, July 31st, and Tuesday, August 1st; the second round will take place on Wednesday, August 2nd; the quarter-finals on Thursday, August 3rd; the semi-finals on Friday, August 4th; and the champion of the Mifel Tenis Open by Telcel Oppo 2023 will be crowned on Saturday, August 5th.
The event will feature special coverage by Noro, aiming to provide fans with all the excitement and details of the matches, player interviews, as well as the experiences of the attendees and the unique atmosphere that will be present at the venue.
